Motel and 70-seat restaurant, 18 years trading

About the business

A freehold going concern motel and restaurant business on the Leichhardt Highway in the Western Downs region of Queensland. It has been trading for 18+ years. The restaurant trades 7 days a week to guests and the public. An onsite contract manager is in place, and the business suits an owner-operator or passive investor. It has 36 accommodation rooms across Standard, PWD, Family and Ensuite Cabin configurations, and a 70-seat restaurant with commercial kitchen. The sale includes the freehold land and buildings plus the full operating business, plant, equipment and goodwill. The broker reports development approval already in place for an additional 25 rooms, and that trading has grown steadily over four years.
